Only use if you have KINKY/COILY hair
At first, I was a bit hesitant to try this conditioner because the reviews were a little low, but then on other forums, I saw that girls with type 4 hair love this conditioner. I have type 4 hair/medium-thick density. After washing it out, I fell in love with this conditioner. Please only use if you have super coil hair. I do not think this would work well for people with looser textures as it's extremely emollient, moisturizing, and slightly heavy for their hair type.

I'm not very hair savvy so I can't vouch for whether or not it left my hair super hydrated anymore than other conditioners. I can say it smells amazing and it conditioned 4c hair. Also not being a hair girly, I wouldn't normally pay this much for a conditioner but it was recommended for a silk press.
WHY does it smell awful

I've tried Kpak and Defy, but my hair really likes the Moisture Recovery. But it has a strong perfume smell. I hate it while showering. It does make my hair feel soft but I hope that awful smell isn't there after I style and dry and I haven't gone nose blind. I want my hair products to have a very low scent, vanilla, coconut, clove but just a hint. Not old lady perfume that makes me want to rinse it off as soon as possible.
