Leaves thick oily residue
This product can be okay if you use it correctly. I've found out the hard way not to put it anywhere close to near the root. It leaves my roots covered in a thick oily residue. If you use it on only the tips of your hair it can have a positive effect. My hair is so oily it almost looks wet.

I CAN'T GET IT OFF
I got this balm as a gift.. was super excited to try it. However, after using (I followed the instructions to a T) I noticed my hair had a waxy/tacky texture, but just on the ends where I applied this balm. I thought maybe I just didn't wash the product out enough, but that is NOT! the case. I have washed my hair 15 times and I cannot get it out. My next option is using literal dish soap. I am so disappointed and very frustrated!! I will be reaching out to Joico.
4C girlies holy grail
This right here is some good stuff, and i mean like visible difference after one use good stuff. I usually use deep super thick deep conditioners which are good but they dont leave my hair as soft and moisturized as this balm. Add it to your cart. And a little goes a long way.
Had to re-wash my hair
Even after very thorough rinses this product left thick oily residue several sections of my hair. I have to use clarifying shampoos to get it out
I love this conditioner
This conditioner is great! I saw a hairdresser on social media who specializes in curly hair use this product. I waited until i saw it on sale to try it and then i took it on vacation with me because i knew i would be in the pool and the beach alot and my hair feels soo soft and hydrated. I put it on and went into the steam room for added bonus. My hair feels amazing. I will purchase again. I wish i had gotten more when it was on sale. Lol
Super moisturizing!
This treatment balm is super thick yet moisturizing! My hair tangles quite easily, and I find that this is the only product that allows me to quickly detangle without much snagging. I love the scent and the fact that I don't need to use too much to coat my strands.
