Key Ingredients
- Sea Buckthorn Oil: Packed with vitamins C, E, and omega-7 fatty acids, it helps support the skin’s natural moisture barrier, protects against dryness by providing deep hydration, and helps reduce the signs of aging.
- Borage Seed Oil: Omega-rich and emollient, with gamma linoleic acid, known for its healing properties, it helps maintain skin’s barrier function, improves hydration and elasticity, and reduces the appearance of redness and inflammation.
- Coconut Oil: Melts into skin and deeply moisturizes, soothes, and helps reduce inflammation for silky-smooth skin.
- Aromatherapy Flower Oils: With rose, geranium rose, lavender, and chamomile to nourish skin and provide a calming, spa-like experience.

Ultra hydrating balm, perfect for winter.
Only giving 4 stars because of this company's misleading advertising…which impacted my expectations. I purchased from an IG ad that mentioned 'never needing makeup again' and something along the lines of a promise to deliver a better than makeup glow. Because of these implications I expected this ba...

This Isn't For Everyone
I purchased this online at Ulta…unlike all of the other reviews except two. It's definitely not for everyone, and it's packed with essential oils and fragrance. Not that great
Nothing special. I'd expect for the price it would feel luxurious and hydrating.
This Isn't For Everyone
I purchased this online at Ulta…unlike all of the other reviews except two. It's definitely not for everyone, and it's packed with essential oils and fragrance. It's not a true balm but solidified oils. If you're sensitive to essential oils, you definitely don't want this on your skin. I'm not, and definitely don't mind using it on my elbows and other dry spots, but I would never use this on my face. It contains essential oils that are known to cause photo sensitivity. This company prides itself on this product having no water in it, but oils and water don't mix well together when a product is solid oils. I won't be repurchasing. There are plenty of solid face oils out there if that's what you are looking for, and at half the price, but it's not a bad product, either. It's overpriced for what it is but not a bad product, either.
Absolutely Not
I love OE's hydrating eye balm and lip balms so I decided to splurge on this product because I love a good balm. This really isn't it. The ingredients are not completely clean and it just does not do a great job for what it costs at almost $100...Holy cow. And for all of you who are sensitive to fragrance, this is pungent with added floral fragrance that, don't get me wrong, I love florals and a spa like scent but this follows you around for HOURS after applying! I am really sensitive to that and if you are too, please save your money. I really love Farmhouse Fresh's Sunflower Superbalm for around $55. Clean ingredients and actually does an amazing job.
I'm in Love!!!
I have been using this balm for two months (first jar; a little goes a long way!) The balm texture is so yummy and it sinks into my skin perfectly. I apply it on my face, neck, décolleté, and chest every night after cleansing, essence, and serums (Perricone MD) and there is no pilling. I will never NOT have this in my daily go-to arsenal now that I have found it. My skin thanks you, Oak Essentials!
