Clinique Moisture Surge Hydrating Lotion is a light, refreshing, oil-free watery lotion that drenches skin with hydration and is applied after cleansing and clarifying. You'll want to use a moisturizer after and we like Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion. It has several formula options for you to choose from and you'll love that it has a pump dispenser. Great question! Great addition for those with super dry skin

Sorry for the long review!! I've been using the moisture surge line again for the last 2.5 years. I stopped using it 20 or so years ago because they only had the original moisture surge at that time, and it wasn't enough of a booster for my very dry skin. My sister worked for Clinique then, and even...

Sticky, disappointed

I wanted to love this. I currently use Cerave PM for my morning and nighttime moisturizer (recommended by my Derm) and absolutely love it for face and hands! Cerave PM serum fully absorbs and doesn't leave a greasy or thick residue. With this Clinique Moisture surge, I feel like it layers on my skin...

Buyer Beware

Submitted 3 months ago

By Sarah

I ordered this product specifically because it's marketed as oil free, but I was sent the Moisture Surge Hydro-Infused Lotion instead, which contains oil. I called customer service and they assured me that I'm not crazy and these are indeed two distinct products with similar names. They sent me a replacement and when it arrived it was the same incorrect product they mailed me the first time. If you order this looking for an oil free moisturizer, you're likely going to receive the wrong thing.

Why Wasn't I Using This Sooner?!

I have very combo, allergic, sensitive skin and can't use Retinol, so I stick to copper peptides, HA, and AHA/BHA for my wrinkle defense, but my skin is DRY and awful no many serum & Moisture layers I do unless I use Moisture Surge Gel, "Overnight Mask" (I leave it on), under eye cream, and lip treatment. Even the most expensive products don't compare, so olí have no idea how I missed this toner/lotion for so long, but here we are! I use an AHA toner normally and this is the same consistentcy as the AHA toner, expect like 4x the size for the same price. It outperformed my other products thus far, but I like that it has limited ingredients so I don't have to worry about it mixing poorly with It C, Copper, AHA etc. It didn't weaken my steps in the AM or PM and provided great moisture as a base for both bare skin and make up that needs to last 16 hours or more. Very smooth, no smell, no irttaton, perfect for tapping into skin. Will buy again

Most underrated product

Submitted 1 year ago

By Hailey

From College station

I think this whole line is underrated to start off with. I originally found this product at tjmax and i was hesitant to get it at first. I have really sensitive acne prone skin and ive struggled with finding the right products. This product is watery because its a toner not a lotion but its so good. I use it morning and night and it gives extra hydration and helps the rest of my products soak into my skin. My skin stays way more hydrated and glowy. I dont have as much acne anymore and my make up looks so much better. The bottle is huge and you dont need much. This toner will easily last 6 months to a year and i wont go without it.

I don't know why it took me so long to try this product! I use all of the other moisture surge products and finally ordered the hydro-infused lotion and it is my new favorite part of my routine! Some other reviews say it's watery and not a lotion - it's not what you would normally think of as a "lotion". To me it's like a thick hydrating toner. I pat it into my skin after using the moisture surge spray and it automatically makes my skin feel so supple and hydrated. Also the bottle is HUGE! If you have dry and sensitive skin, trust me and try this product :)

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

I Use It Differently!

I use this product a little differently than I think most people do. I put it on the back of my hands because I'm desperately trying to hold back that creepy crepey skin that comes with age. At night I put the Moisture Surge 100h on the back of my hands and then during the day I'll rub in some of this hydro-infused lotion. I do think it's helping! Other reviews are correct though, it's not what you normally think a lotion is, it's very watery, but I like that, it sinks in immediately!

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend
