The Multi-tasking conditioner is the best product to figure out how much protein your hair needs. If you've never used protein before, start by using this as a rinse-out conditioner. If that works, try as a deep conditioner, and finally as a leave-in. The more damaged or porous your hair is the more steps you can cover with this product in the same wash day!

I love it and it does everything that the bottle say. however it's not as hydrating as I expected but that's just me being extremely picky.
My personal fave
On my wavy/curly hair journey, I have tried many leave-ins. Some salon-expensive. Some drugstore value. This has been my favorite, and as someone who loves to try new products (and am what Jenna Marbles used to refer to as a "goo hoarder"), the fact that I have purchased this multiple times tells me how much I love it and keep coming back to it. My hair is on the thinner side, wavy 2C on top/curly 3A underneath. I use this both in the shower as a rinse out and out of the shower as a leave-in. It does not weigh my hair down, which is my biggest struggle with leave-ins. It adds the right amount of hydration for me. If you have coarser, thirsty curls, you may want to find a more hydrating product. I generally wait to purchase it until a 40% off sale, which happens throughout the year, or the 21 Days of Beauty. Can't argue with 50% off!
Perfect for my hair type!
Hair Type Wavy Hair
This product has been fantastic for my hair! Also confirmed that my hair is higher porosity due to how well it responds to it. I have 2A wavy, medium coarseness, higher porosity hair (mixed Caucasian/asian). I have always struggled with dry and frizzy hair, but felt sometimes that my hair got weighed down easily. Well, enter this conditioner. This makes it so I don't have to add any leave-ins or oil, and can just use mousse. My hair has become more shiny and I'm assuming it has helped seal moisture into my hair - it feels like moisture is actually penetrating into my hair and staying there. The protein has also helped give my hair more structure so my loose wave pattern has gotten stronger. I absolutely love it! Definitely not for all hair types but if you're struggling with similar issues to the ones I listed, give it a shot. It might just be exactly what your hair needs.
