Missing the Old Formula
I still have the original formula of the OPI nail strengthener and it is so much better then thr new formula. The new formula does not last as long as does not seem to strengthen at all. As soon as you shower with this polish on it turns cloudy and white and starts to peel. My nails actually feel weaker with this new formula. The old formula had my nails stronger in one week and had a great shine to it. I will have to switch to a different nail strengthener all together because unfortunately OPI is no longer worth it.
New Formula Failure
This new formula is horrible! The "tri-flex technology" is just not it. The original was amazing, my mother and I both were huge fans. She was the one to complain about it and told me to try it, I immediately noticed a difference, and not in a good way. Don't waste your money on this. I'm now at a loss trying to find a new nail strengthener for when I take a break from acrylics.
Cannot live without it
I have thumbnails that grow out "square", sort of like ingrown toe nails. In order for them to grow out and not break at that sharp angle, I need to wear this to strengthen them. I went without it for months and I am now paying the price. I only like the original because it doesn't show the wear on the tips so readily . Also, I don't have to be very careful when applying the product. I tried a light pink and it wasn't the same.
New formula waste of money
Opi nail envy used to help strengthen my nail and help them grow. The formula has changed and my nails do better without using this. The first day with 2 coats nails look fine. When I get ready to reapply on day three the clear coat is clouded and peeling. Nails bending and breaking. Thought I got a deal with BOGO 1/2 off 2nd bottle. Waste of money.
Will definitely buy again!
After one week already seeing improvement in strength and growth.
