I got this tool for easier extraction of white heads and black heads so I don't mark my skin using my fingers. Im not sure why people rated this low but its great and helps with the blackheads on my nose. The small loop is for blackheads and the larger loop is for whiteheads. Yes, if you push this hard into your skin it will leave a mark and possibly redness. Duh. Be gentle and practice makes perfect when using this tool. It works perfectly for me and im very happy i found this. Tweezerman is the best so you cant go wrong here.

Great tool for cleaning pores, but you have to be gentle or you could agitate the skin. The loops aren't very secure inside the shaft and came loose / popped out while I was using it. I would recommend buying a different, better quality tool.
