I recently purchased (medium beige 12) in the original loose powder bc the matte I always wear was not in stock. It was significantly darker in the original version. I had to return it. Is there a difference in that color btwn the two finishes? or have the colors changed within the last 8 months? I want to order the matte in medium beige 12 but am concerned the color wont be right for me.

LOOKS LIKE PERFECT SKIN, SO I,M TOLD!
I HAVE BEEN USING ALL THE PRODUCTS FOR WELL OVER 15YEARS. I HAVE BOUGHT, BEFORE I RETIRED, MANY FRIENDS AND FAMILY MEMBERS STARTER KITS (NOT CHEAP) BUT WORTH THEM KNOWING THEY CAN HIDE ALL FLAWS. I AM 68 YEARS OLD AND PEOPLE TELL ME ALL THE TIME THAT I HAVE SUCH YOUNG BEAUTIFUL SKIN. I MUST ADMIT, I...

never again!
Lets just start by saying I have been using BE products for over 4years. Loved the original foundation but in the summer at times made me look to shiny. So I decided to try the matte version. The colors are slightly darker than the orginal. Coverage is much more sheer so I feel I would use a jar of ...

Good *if* you can find a shade that matches you
This product has beautiful coverage and it is effortless to put on, adding a good amount of coverage. I love using this for work in the early morning as I don't have more than 10 minutes to do my makeup. It looks beautiful on the skin. The problem? It oxidizes like 2-3 shades darker. I had tried shade #3, and exchanged it for shade #2 which seemed to help but still looks very dark. Sadly I will be returning more than likely. I wish they could come out with lighter shades! If you a very fair skin girly (I'm N4 with MAC) I would steer clear because this will have your face looking 2-3 shades darker than you are.
Best Foundation
I've been using Bare Minerals foundation for years. I buy the Matte as I have oily skin and it helps to keep the shine away. It's light weight on your skin and doesn't fall into lines or wrinkles and helps to hide pores. I use primer first apply the foundation and then the Mineral Veil. Looks as good at the end of the day as when I put it on in the morning. I also like the ability to be able to mix colors if I want a little more color on my face in the summer.
I would buy this product again
I have used this product for years and will continue to
Definitely go with the matte if you have combo skin!
Love love love I got both the original and the matte and the matte lasts all day long on my combo skin! Also get the shade that you think you are the shade match had me as a medium way too dark. I am between the 5-9 and it had me at the 11.
Amazing!!
Perfection. Perfect match. Easy to apply.
