Makes hair feel dirty
To be fair this is my first hair mask. I used small amount. The smell is a mix between fabric softener and toilet bowl cleaner. By morning the smell is gone but I always have to wash my hair first thing because my hair feels dirty and is not manageable.

Hair Type Straight Hair
I've noticed a big difference in the frizz the next day! I like this stuff a lot! I saw a few reviews saying it ruined their highlighted/colored hair. I don't dye my hair, so maybe this is why I was okay with it!

Hair Type Wavy Hair
I like this product it is easy to use. However it leaves a film on my hair which does mostly go away after brushing. It is great for the night before school and you want to wake up to frizz free wavy hair. All in all this is a pretty good product.
Highlighted brunettes beware!!!!!!
All the glowing reviews made this sound like a hidden gem. Works great, costs less -- I had to try it! My fresh blonde highlights from 2 days prior turned a DARK BRONZE. I sheepishly had to tell my stylist about trying this cheap product, asking her what to do. She looked at the ingredients and the last one on the list is Chromium Hydroxide Green, which she said worries her and my hair probably soaked that up. So now I'm going back for a $45 toner retouch thanks to this garbage. Back to Redken Hydramelt I go.
Great Hair Mask
I pair this hair mask with the matching dry shampoo. I have never been successful in getting past day two of washing my hair but now can make it three or more days! I will purchase again and again.
I could live with this product forever.
I don't usually like fragrance products; I prefer the fragrance-free option for this brand's dry shampoo. However, this one smells... almost like it does inside Ulta? Either way, not too overpowering for me, but anyway... My advice would be, apply this to your hair while it's still wet, or damp, at least. For me, applying to dry hair leads to tangles, which defeats the purpose of helping your strands. That being said, I've used this before bed, after showering in the morning, before styling, and it's wonderful any time of day; I don't have near the tangles I used to.
