I bought this straightener to replace my last one of over 15 years due to it starting to ware out. It worked, but I had to put it at higher temperatures than I did in the past. This one didn't seem a whole lot better. Maybe it is due to my hair becoming more corse as more and more becomes gray.

I had an older version of this straightener from 2011 - 2025, and I never babied it. It got tossed into luggage and dropped many times.

bought this because i read titanium is better at straightening curly hair. but it doesnt live up to the same standards as the cermaic! doesn't leave your hair as sleek and shiny like the cermaic. save your money and buy the cermaic chi.
