Thick Hair Approved
I've got super thick hair that gets oily fast, and I recently ran out of clarifying shampoo for a few weeks. My scalp had so much buildup, it started feeling sore—like bruised sore. My roots felt heavy and greasy just two days after wash day, and the last clarifier I used didn't really help. This one actually surprised me—in the best way. After just one wash, my hair felt light again and my scalp didn't hurt at all. I know some people say it's hard to apply, and I get it. But flipping my hair upside down and taking small scoops with my fingertips made it easier to work into my scalp. Once I did, it lathered up really well. Also, the scent is so good. It has a fresh, clean smell that doesn't come off harsh or chemical-y at all. It's subtle but refreshing—just enough to make the whole experience feel extra nice without being overpowering. It is drying, but that's kind of the point of a clarifying shampoo—it strips away all the buildup and resets your scalp. That's why I follow up with a hydrating shampoo and a great conditioner. I always double shampoo: clarifier first to get the gunk off, then my moisturizing shampoo to actually clean and soften. This worked so well, I didn't feel the need to wait weeks to review it. Just keep in mind: I have oily hair. If your hair doesn't get greasy fast, your experience might be different. But for me? This is a new staple.
Allergic Reaction
I wanted to try a scalp scrub after taking out my sew-in, so I gave this product a go. The water from my hair mixed with the product began running down the righr side of my face. While scrubing my scalp with the product, I noticed that side began to feel really warm. When I checked my face in the mirror, I saw welts that followed the pattern of thd water. Take precaution when trying this product. May cause a reaction.

Highly recommend
I have been using this for several months now once a week combined with the Perfect Pair condtioner. I could see how some may feel hair is dry if you are not using the right conditioner! My scalp is typically finr until I get some regrowth, domething about hair color highlights my scalp likes). I go to the salon every 6 weeks. My stylist mentioned the previous two visits I had a few small psoraisis spots on my scalp. Now that I have been using this product my scalp is perfect. Also, I became ill 2 years ago and was very sick. I lost a lot of my hair volume. Since using this, I have visible regrowth! My stylist showed me, it's all through my scalp. I realize it probably isn't just because of the products, I am healthier, but I can say I have not had any loss. In between washes I use R&Company brand. I am going to pick up this brand in a daily shampoo now that it has proven to be great! I do use a scalp massager brush to work the suds around, btw.
