Dispense a teaspoon of powder into palms. Mix with a few drops of water to form a soft paste. Use more water for gentler exfoliation. Massage into skin with gentle circular motions. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.

I am trying to decide which is the better option, this or overnight exfoliating treatment. Do they do they same thing or are they completely different products?

The Overnight Exfoliating Treatment is a chemical exfoliant that contains a combination of 10% alpha hydroxy acids to remove dead skin cells for smoother skin and beta hydroxy acids to help with congestion. I bought this on a whim, I was looking for an exfoliant to add to my routine. After 1 use (at nighttime) I noticed immediate results. It cleansed thoroughly but didn't strip my skin, and left it feeling hydrated and soft. The next morning I noticed my scarring from cystic acne was much lighter, and my complexion was brighter than usual. My skin looks and feels healthier. I cannot recommend this product enough, it's high quality and allows my makeup to go on much smoother. Will definitely repurchase and recommend to everyone!
Not exfoliating
Not exfoliating at all. Can't use without water and the smallest amount immediately turns it into a cream. It does soften skin but doesn't deliver the exfoliation I was looking for.
Exfoliation was too gentle
I like that I could just add water to this (or I would add some Cetaphil cleanser) and can customize it. However, it never felt very exfoliating to me. Perhaps I'm just used to bigger granules in my Acure Brightening Face Scrub (which I love). I will use this from time to time, but don't plan to buy again.

Highly recommend and it lasts awhile. I wiuldnt recommend daily use but every other day or so I like to use it. Makes ny skin feel refreshed and soft. No harsh chemicals and its rated really well on yuka — so im not worried about harsh ingredients.
