This thing reeks, and it's not from shipping with the other items I ordered because they have no scent. I don't know if it's from the loofah itself – by design – or how it was stored wherever they ship from. If it's by design, they absolutely need to say so in the product description. Plenty of people, like me, cannot stand fragrance. I have an autoimmune condition that gets kicked off by these harmful, entirely unnecessary chemicals. I'll just throw this away in the trash outside rather than make the effort to return it or "gift" it to someone outside my household. Another item in my order was missing completely... (Not factoring that into the rating for this product, just an FYI to others ordering online.)

Thi loofah is made of heavier mesh and is dense. It's well-made and much better quality v. other ones I've purchased. It's lasted quite a bit longer and produces great lather with shower gel. I'd purchase again
