I received this free to review. When I opened the package I was very impressed. I loved the tin it came in and the colors were very nice. They look very velvety like the may be cream to powder. I received this Stila palette to try out and review. Looking at it I was uncertain about it. I'm not normally a fan of glitter shadow. Well this one changed that opinion. The glitter is very subtle and the colors quite neutral, which is my favorite. The smoky color is the perfect liner shade and is a great consistency.

This is a nice little eye compact, cute packaging with a mirror inside the compact. Powder goes on easily, a moderate amount of kickback in the pan. Colors are not my personal favorite but they are nice if your prefer a matte look. Easily blendable with a nice shade range, I will definitely try the other colors in this line. I was sent this product in exhange for my honest review.

Stila sent me this complimentary Pocket Play Wild Flowers Eye Shadow Palette through the BzzAgent sampling program so that I could review it. All opinions stated here are my own. The compact case for this eye shadow palette matches the outer box, with a cute flower design on the top. It appears to be made of metal, which I like because that means the case probably won't chip like plastic would when transported. I think the built-in, square shaped mirror is a nice size. Unfortunately, the palette doesn't come with any brushes. The color choices seem appropriate for the theme of wild flowers (or outdoor plants). I appreciate there being a mix of both matte and shimmery options available. However, the honey color looks more pink and brown. Based on the name, I would expect it to be a golden yellow. Overall, the eye shadows have a smooth texture, with average adherence, and I'm happy with them.

This palette is wonderful. I am blonde hair, blue eyes and the colors are perfect. I am also very picky about the texture of eyeshadows, and this one fits the bill. They are perfectly pigmented and last until I wash it off.
