I LOVE but have had to adapt
I love this product and can tell a difference in my skin after using this product at night- but BEWARE! This product is light and rich BUT will pill-up depending on what products you layer under/over, even within the same brand. Best application I've found: a light gel moisturizer or thin serum THEN Pro-Collagen Banking Serum, then a layer of oil. I do not use this product every night but when I do (one to two times a week), I notice a difference in my skin's hydration/texture/overall appearance. My guess is that the less of a barrier (products layered before) between my skin and this product is what makes the difference.
Stiky and Drying
I was really hoping for great results with the Dermalogica Pro-Collagen Banking Serum, but it ended up being a letdown. Instead of feeling hydrating and smooth, the serum left my skin feeling sticky and uncomfortable. Even after giving it some time to absorb, my skin still felt dry and tight, which is the opposite of what I expected from a product marketed for collagen boosting. It didn't seem to provide any moisture or plumpness, and honestly, my skin felt worse after using it. For the price, I expected a lot more. Definitely not a product I'd recommend.
Love Using It
I love how this serum goes on nicely. I bought it on the advice of my facialist and is now part of my face regimen at home. I am a senior, so banking collagen is of interest to me. I have good skin, so I cannot say if this really works. But, if it helps me preserve my good skin, I am all for it.
Great serum!
I don't quite understand how this serum works as it isn't a standard across brands but this definitely makes my skin feel supple and hydrated. It is expensive but when I saw it had a 4.9 rating, I figured it might provide a benefit I haven't seen with other products. I haven't run out of my first bottle and I feel ready to buy another. Only downside is I have now clue how long this bottle will last.
Love this product
So worth the money. Visible results within a few weeks. It's right in between a serum and a moisturizer in regards to the feel of the product.
