Would you say this is a step up from the other hair dryer in the babyliss line? As a past user of an older hairdryer in this line I finally upgraded and wanted to know that my hair would still be healthy and long after transitioning!

I had initally had the babyliss Ceramix hair dryer snd had it for a very very long time and loved it but just decided to get the rapido. The CERAMIX dryer never damaged my hair and i have very long, curly hair. Will the rapido cause more damage than the CERAMIX?

Can't believe I'm writing a dryer review but it's THAT good!
I was looking for a new hair dryer and wanted one with a lot of power that had variable settings, a diffuser, and wasn't too loud. I looked at various models and decided to give this a shot. I forget if it has 2000 watts or more than 2000 but either way, most dryers have between 1375 and 1875 watts ...

Waste of money
I love my babyliss blow dryer, but once your concentrator breaks, it becomes a paper weight! None of the attachments actually fit. Even after emailing Babyliss support, they recommend I go to Sally's with my blow dryer to test out their after market pieces. For this reason I honestly don't know if I...

Super high airflow
Hair Type Straight Hair
I have a short haircut that I style using my blow dryer and round brush. I had high hopes for this dryer but the heat seemed too high even at the low set and ditto with the airspeed. Difficult to control as a styling tool.
LOVE IT
Amazing for blowouts on my long naturally curly 2b/2c hair. It's the perfect combo of speed and heat to make the process as fast as possible with NO scorch. The cool shot gets actually cool faster than any other dryer I've used. My last dryers were Shark and ghd—not bad or cheap products by any means. But especially for blowouts, this one is the absolute best!
My favorite ever!!!
Hair Type Wavy Hair
With long thick hair, hair washing/blow drying days are the worst!! But not with this hair dryer!! Maybe 10 minutes and that's with no air drying before hand! Worth every single dollar!!!
Love it.
I tried this blow dryer today because my dryer went out and I'm in love. It's super lightweight and easy to hold! Highly recommend.
Lasted about 18 months
This dryer started scting up after only a few months. Sometimes it wouldn't start for several seconds, sometimes it smelled weird. After about 18 months it wouldn't turn on at all and it started smoking. This dryer is way too expensive to be less reliable than a Revlon dryer that literally costs one tenth the price.
