Apply to soaking wet hair. For extra moisture, prime your hair with your favorite Curlsmith leave-in. Rake through to ensure you are evenly coating all strands. How To Use
Step 1
Rub the product between your hands and apply on soaking wet hair with the “praying hands” method, smoothing from top to ends.
Step 2
Flip your head upside down and scrunch gently with upwards motions to encourage curl to spring back and form their pattern.
Step 3
Air dry or diffuse. Make sure you flip your head in all directions while drying to increase volume. Do not touch hair while drying.
Step 4
Once completely dry, scrunch again to 'break the cast', the crunchy feeling gels greate, and make your hair super soft and bouncy.

Apply all your leave-in products (conditioners, creams, foams and gels) on soaking wet hair - this will help the product spread more easily and coat the curls evenly instead of being patchy!

Light Weight, great shine, no frizz or leftover residue
I have to wear my hair up a lot due to my work, so i use this with a leave in conditioner on days im not doing my standard curl routine. Ill set my hair in a braid so its out of my face and then after work i can take it out and it helps hold the braid waves so well and has such a nice shine with no frizz or residue feeling. I did not like this product at first because the hold isnt strong enough for my standard routine, but i hate wasting product. Im happy i found the perfect use for it and its definitely a product ill purchase again for my braid days.
Great for fine hair
On a whim I decided to try this gel and I love it. I have fine curly hair and it doesnt weigh my hair down like creams do. Its runny so its easy to distribute through my hair. I make sure my hair is really wet, rake the gel through my hair, and diffuse to form a cast. As long as your hair is really wet when raking in the gel, you'll have beautiful seaweed clumps. Once it's fully dry, I shake out the cast and I have perfect ringlets with no frizz.

I thought my hair was frizzy before I used this product. This left my hair dry and brittle and very fuzzy. I've used this brand before and was impressed, this one not so much. Will return
Just not for me
Tried it for a variety of applications and felt like it missed the mark on all. Frizzy and undefined curls, sticky weird blowout that made my untouchable hair move as one unit… love my shampoo and conditioner but hard pass on this gel.
