HOW TO REPLACE THE FILTER CARTRIDGE
- STEP 1: While your Shower Filter is already in place, use one hand to hold onto the bottom of the Shower Filter. Then, twist the filter cap counterclockwise to remove it and access the existing filter cartridge.
- STEP 2: Remove the old filter cartridge and slide the new one into the Shower Filter with the black band facing downwards. Then, reattach the filter cap by twisting it clockwise for a secure fit.
- STEP 3: Run the water for at least a minute to activate the new filter & flush out any air bubbles for a seamless flow.
Pro tip: To maintain your elevated shower experience, change the filter cartridge every 3 months.*

It works but it's plastic, not metal. I guess I should have figured based on the other color options but for some reason seeing the chrome and even holding it in my hand I totally thought it was made out of metal. Screwing plastic onto metal isn't really a good combo. While following the directions ...

Did not last
I purchased a shower filter cartridge one week ago and my water pressure has already gone down. The shower head i purchased and installed only lasted (maybe) a month. I dont recommend this product because it does not live up to the description of lastinf 3 months. I cannot attest to whether or not it works due to the low lifespan - neither the original shower filter or replacement did anything for me.
Life changing for my hair and skin!
We have hard water that has really impacted the health of my hair and my skin over the last few years. I got this for Christmas and for the first time in 4 years since we moved here, my hair looks so much better. My hair feels lighter and looks much cleaner and my acne which became severe for the first time in my life, has dissipated entirely. My husband has also noticed his hair feels cleaner and lighter. We both feel fhis filter is a game changing investment if you have hard water.

I love the brand products, specially the soaps but this filter is driving me insane and everyone in my family is mad at me. I dont see much difference on my hair. But the worst part is that our shower head lost all pressure. We've tried to loosen it and to tighten it and nothing seems to work. It's frustrating to take a shower. I wanted to love it so bad but now I dont even know that to do.

I'm still debating on if I want to exchange it for another one or just return it.
