Q
Can it be used on completely wet hair?! Or should it partially be dry first?
Asked by Amy D
Official Answer By Kristin Ess Hair - Brand Engage
Hello! Thank you for your question! We do recommend to thoroughly towel-dry your hair to remove the excess water so your hair is damp, not wet before using the Soft Volume Blow Dry Brush. For thick or long hair, you may want to rough dry your hair at the roots first with a regular blow dryer to remove excess moisture. You could also pair the Blow Dry Brush with Kristin Ess Hair Style Assist Blow Dry Mist for heat protection up to 450 degrees and to help speed styling time. This has made my life easier!!!

I'm black and I have very thick, more on the course side 3c/4a type hair. I've been wearing my hair natural since 2014 when I grew out a relaxer. I haven't been using any heat on my hair regularly since 2015. My hair is now healthy and has it's original curl pattern ans thickness. That being said, i...

Takes long to dry hair

This comes in nice organized packaging and looks very sleek. I like the ion technology this blow dryer brush has because it definitely makes your hair feel soft to the touch. But this took way to long for me to dry my hair. I will say my hair is thick so that may be one reason it took so long and my...

I purchased the KRISTIN ESS HAIR Soft Volume Blow Dry Brush six months back while shopping around for a dual voltage dryer brush to use outside the country as well. The Q&A from six months ago clearly mentions this is dual voltage from Kristin Ess brand rep, but unfortunately it is not. Too bad should've bought it closer to my travel date, I'm past the return window. Prefer the connair dryer brush over this, since this dries out hair with continuous use even with heat protection.

As someone who is "married" to her flat iron, I think we can separate (but not divorce)! This dryer is amazing in that it dries quickly and lives up to its claim of producing smooth, soft hair. I thought I'd need to use this several times before getting the hang if it, but the first use made me look like I left the salon. The thick handle takes a little getting used to in maneuvering, but aside from that I am a huge fan!

I have relaxed hair and I also use this on my daughter who has thick, slightly wavy hair. The dryer gets heavy to use after a while. I have been using it for a few weeks now (I wash my hair weekly, my daughter washes hers every other day) and it is definitely a learning curve using it. You would think it's just as simple as brushing your hair but it's not. Not achieving the most smooth and sleek look that I would like. Could be user error, but this isn't the simplest tool to use. I wouldn't buy it again. That said, the price point is good and I like that they include a card with tips on how to use it.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend
