First, start with clean, hairless armpits!

I normally don't write reviews, but I must state that upon reading all the reviews for this product, I think that everyone who states that they have developed irritation or sensitive skin due to this soap bar are people who have been shaving their armpits and have caused skin irritation from that. F...irst of all, it's 2023, with the availability of laser hair removal, there's no reason for anyone to have to shave armpit hair or even have armpit hair anymore. I have not had armpit hair in over 20 years! Go get laser hair removal and in 5 to 8 sessions, you will remove hair on that part of your body and it will be wonderful! You will not have ingrown hairs anymore, in fact, you won't have hair, period. Removing armpit hair permanently will cause you to sweat less and have less bacteria in your armpit area because there will be no hair for the bacteria to stick to and cause BO. You will still sweat and have some BO if you don't shower everyday, but removing your armpit hair will help a LOT, I promise. What will remain under your arms is the pigmentation from the original hair follicles. That's what I want to get rid of, those little dark dots of pigmentation that cause a darkness in my armpit area that I want to lighten. I want my underarm skin to match the light skin of my arms. And this little Megababe soap bar is working! I've been using this soap bar for a month now and I do see a difference in my underarm skintone and those little dots of pigmentation where the hair used to grow out of are fading. This little soap bar is lightning this area! I shower everyday and the first thing I do when I get in the shower is lather up my armpits. I soap up my armpits and I leave the lather from the Megababe soap in my armpits for at least 5 minutes or longer. I start shampooing my hair and then even conditioning it. Only after I finish washing my hair, do I remove the lather from under my arms, lather the rest of my body with shower gel and wash it all away. I really think that's the key to see a difference. The longer you leave the lather in your armpit area, the more it will help. Since I no longer need to shave my armpits, I have no open skin from a razor that would cause my armpits to burn or have irritation. The soapboard does not smell or cause any burning sensation. What you will notice when you get out of the shower is that there is a dry barrier in your armpits which preps the skin for your antiperspirant. This little soap bar is going to get me the "Miss America lift your arms and wave" perfectly hairless, smooth and pigmentation-free underarms that I have always wanted! I highly recommend this product.
