Estée Lauder, has this parfum been reformulated/changed from original in any way? I was going to purchase this until I read the comments from customers who claim it has changed from the original. Your answers to their comments/questions are what is making me leery of trying this fragrance. Please don't answer with the same vague answers you gave others who asked.

After reading the input here, I realize why my "spellbound" has been 2nd rate for several years! It is so very disappointing! I used to get multiple compliments on my perfume. And was always asked what I was wearing. Go back to the original (even if you have to charge more), and I'm a happy customer again!

When you changed the formula for Spellbound (and we all know you did) you should have also changed the name to GASLIGHT! (For what you are trying to do) so 😔 disappointed in Estee Lauder

How does Spellbound compare to Knowing by Estee Lauder in fragrance?

Why do you keep saying formula hasn't changed? That's a lie!!! I have worn Spellbound since 1992 and when you changed the bottle, took off the black cap you changed the perfume!!! I am looking for a new perfume do to your dishonesty. You raised the price for a cheaper formula shame on you!!!!

Spellbound has been the best fragrance from Estee Lauder that I have used and I have been an Estee Lauder customer for many years and have had many compliments from males and females. I do have a suggestion that they stock the stores again and bring back the lotion.

Still good But Depends on Where You Buy It
The scent is mesmerizing, you want to keep.smelling your wrists and clothing, I agree. But where you buy this totally matters. Usually a department store where they have a counter dedicated to their line of products is where you get the top quality stuff. Not saying you can't get it from anywhere else, but in my experience, it's what I recommend. I have a bottle from 2016, the perfume is very potent still and has darkened. That's real perfume-like what you'd find at your grandma's house. The scent is mature, not very common and very sophisticated. I recommend it completely if you value individuality, confidence, and the absolute ability to be unforgettable when you walk by someone. LBD and black tie occasion perfume!
All Time Favorite Perfume
This perfume will drive your significant other insane. I don't splurge on perfume often as the mom of 6. I originally started wearing Spellbound in the 90s as a high schooler but I could not afford to purchase it. I would go to the perfume counters in stores and use the tester on my leather jacket. It seemed to last for weeks like that. I was obsessed with the fragrance and eventually did buy a bottle that I made last for years before running out and not buying again for a decade. Well, that bottle finally ran out after 3 years so my husband replaced it over Christmas because he's obsessed with it too now. To me, it's an exotic spicy floral scent and it just takes me to a happy place every time I smell it. Pure heaven in a bottle!

Spellbound has been my signature scent since 1994 and I would never consider wearing anything else. Compliments abound and I have even been told that people can tell when I have ridden in an elevator, walked down a hall or paid a visit to someone's office because this magical fragrance lingers like no other.
