This product is getting unjustly review bombed
All i see online is drama and doom and gloom about this product from people who haven't even actually tried the product. Any good review is deemed a paid shill, and any negative review is heralded as being the truth. People have already made up their minds before this product even came out, they jus...

Buyer beware - it's nothing close to the original
I discovered this powder by fluke during my trip to Ulta yesterday. Was actually going in to try and snag one of the last original formula powders I could before 2.0 came out. Unfortunately, I was too little, too late. Since this was already on the shelves, though, I figured I'd give it a try. ...

This change is the end of my relationship with MAC. After 15+ years of using their powder, I guess it's over for good. I can't use comedogenic ingredients, and even if I wanted to try, all of the shades are too dark for my fair skin tone. I was formally N3, but the lady working the counter could not shade match me. What a massive step back for this already dying out brand. Time to take my loyalty elsewhere, since it seems it's not appreciated here.

Why in the world would they change something that has worked for so many years?? I went to the Mac counter at Belk to pick up my makeup and the lady tells me that it has been reformulated and the the colors are different. She suggested going 3 shades lighter and I did. It is still way too dark! It also doesn't blend nicely like it did before. The tones are very orangey as well. I'm so so so disappointed.
Horrid
I cannot think of one good reason why Mac changed their iconic powder to this subpar junk. Studio Fix was my IT powder, the one I counted on for a flawless face. Now it is minimal coverage, no oil control, very shiny, and shows every flaw in my skin's texture. Sadly, I will be returning this powder. I will be looking for another brand to wear, because this isn't good any longer.
I don't oppose reformulation but this is the worst

I'm usually ok with reformulation as long as it's at least 80-90% good as the original. So I went to a store thinking it wouldn't be the same, but it is not bad. In reality, this product is straight up jail. MAC is usually talented with their formula (lipstick, blush, eyeshadows, etc.) May not be the best, but usually in top favorites. I'd say the worst MAC product ever, and I'm really surprised that they even approved this formula. I'm NC25 in the old formula, but couldn't find any shade match in the new one. Closest is NC10 (too pink) and NC5 (too yellow), couldn't find anything in between. Whoever doing this shade range was doing a terrible job. Most colors, despite the name, have vivid yellow or pink undertone. I don't think people with pale skin tone can find anything match. Fallout is everywhere, even when I just picked up the powder using my finger. I have oily skin, so powder usually separates on my skin. The old version does separate slightly, but only after 6-7h, and I'm ok retouching my makeup after a long time. For the new one, it happens in a matter of seconds.. I tried my best, but there's nothing I can do to make it work.

I've been using powder plus foundation for over 10 years and I recently bought the new fix make up. I noticed the difference since the first try, it's very powdery and chalky. The face does not look smooth, it looks dry and horrible. Please bring old foundation back! Thank you!
