- Q
Is it safe for acne prone skin?
- Asked by Dani
- Official Answer By La Roche-Posay - BEHello there! Thank you for your question about the Toleriane Purifying Foaming Face Wash for Oily Skin and its suitability for acne-prone skin. Yes, the Toleriane Purifying Foaming Face Wash is generally considered safe and beneficial for acne-prone skin. It is formulated to gently cleanse the skin while removing excess oil and impurities, which can contribute to breakouts. However, every individual's skin is different. We always recommend doing a patch test on a small area of your skin before using it on your entire face, especially if you have very sensitive skin or known allergies. If you have any concerns or experience any irritation, we recommend consulting with a dermatologist. Was this answer helpful to you

- Q
Can this be paired with an oil cleanser?
- Asked by Ivan
- Official Answer By La Roche-Posay - BEHello there! Yes, the Toleriane Purifying Foaming Face Wash can be paired with an oil cleanser, especially in a double-cleansing routine. This is often beneficial for those with oily or combination skin, as the oil cleanser helps to dissolve makeup, sunscreen, and excess sebum, while the foaming face wash provides a deeper cleanse to remove any remaining impurities. In a double-cleansing routine, you would typically start with the oil cleanser, massaging it onto dry skin, and then follow with the Toleriane Purifying Foaming Face Wash to rinse away the oil and thoroughly cleanse the skin. This combination can help to effectively cleanse the skin without over-drying or stripping its natural moisture barrier. Was this answer helpful to you
- Q
Is this product ok for a pre-teen to use on their skin? Or is it possibly to harsh?
- Asked by Lea
- Official Answer By La Roche-Posay - BEHello there! While the Toleriane Purifying Foaming Face Wash is designed for oily and sensitive skin, we always recommend consulting a dermatologist before starting any new skincare routine for a pre-teen. Their skin can be particularly delicate, and a dermatologist can assess their specific needs and recommend the most suitable products. Although our Toleriane line is formulated with gentle ingredients, individual skin reactions can vary. A dermatologist's guidance will ensure the chosen cleanser is both effective and safe for their young skin. Was this answer helpful to you

Great Cleanser!
This cleanser is so nice...no oil, no alcohol, no sulfates, no fragrance, minimal eye irritation. I have super oily skin, and use it twice daily. Half a pump is all I need to get lots of lather, especially when I use my natural sea sponge on exfolation days. It REALLY lathers well, and one bottle la...

I wanted to love this product and brand over all but noticed around the end of July my face was burning. My under eyes were burning and very irritated. I stopped all make up products and everything and was only using the eye cream, face cream and face wash and my face continued to burn, peel, and fl...

So disappointed
Dried out my skin and burned! No idea what is in this stuff that burns my skin but it damaged my barrier a few days ago. I plan on returning it. If you have sensitive skin be careful!!
Great product, until pump starts to grow mold.
I use the moisturizer for this brand and I really liked it so I gave the cleanser a try. At first, it was great- product dispenses a good amount of cleanser, you apply it to the skin and it foams up removing make up and oils. When you rinse it off it doesn't feel dry or like the skin is stripped. I use this as a "pre cleanse" before using another cleanser that I use with my face brush. Lets fast forward to 2 months later I dropped it and the dispensing cap came off, this is when I noticed there was something brown on the inside of the cap. I looked deeper, and that same stuff is accumulated near where the spring inside the bottle is. I am not sure if this is mold or what it is, but I don't think this should be happening as this product is already expensive for an over the counter cleanser. The bottle has an expiration date of 4/2027 so it's surprising to me that I've only used it for 2 months and this happened. I don't feel safe using it, and it's not even half way gone so it's a complete waste of product. I don't know why this happened either since this cleanser was not in my shower, but in a cabinet and I take it out when I'm going to use it so it's not like there was exposure to water getting trapped in from the shower. This is weird, and it left a bad feeling about it. I wouldn't recommend it again until the company figures out a different way to dispense the product. I'll stay away from it for now, but overall it was a good cleanser I think just refigure the dispensing mechanics and it will be great!
Go check your face wash dispenser immediately!!
I have been using the purifying foaming cleanser for a while now.And I really like it as a cleanser.I was reading reviews on here and I noticed a few of them had this reviews regarding mold and rust inside , I ran to check mine and SURE ENOUGH IT DID
