Using clean hands, apply pH Balancing Cleanser to the vulva in the shower or bath. Gently work into a lather and rinse clean. Do not use a bath loofah, sponge, or towel as these may be harsh and rough on the vulva. May be used every time you wash.

If this is such a clean product then why does it have carrageenan in it ?

Negative reports of Carageenan are mostly made in regards to ingesting it in foods/diets (as opposed to a wash) in studies done on animals, as opposed to humans. We keep our customers needs in addition to well-being in mind when producing our products, and we hope at the end of the day these are able to support you in total body care. Skin irritation
I used to love this cleanser but i believe they changed the formula. I was trying to get the product out of the bottle and it splattered on my shoulder. I tried rinsing it off but it left an outline of redness where the soap had landed on my skin. I've used this product for a few years and I find it odd that the product that advertises itself for sensitive areas causes a reaction when it touched the skin of my shoulder. I'm not aware of any allergies that I might have but its weird that it is suddenly irritating my skin. Looking for a replacement:/

Very gentle, with no fragrance= perfect for the vulva area. I saw some reviews complaining about there being no foam. That's normal for a non drying cleanser. Not all cleansers foam.
