After cleansing, during the serum phase, shake the bottle lightly once or twice from side to side and apply a few drops to the skin. Use fingertips to gently massage and absorb the serum, starting from the inside of the face working towards the edges. For the first use, attach the enclosed dropper in the product package. Recommended to use within 2 months of opening due to active ingredient protection. Highly concentrated serum should only be used in the evening? NO! This serum can be used in the morning and/or afternoon. If applied in the morning, be sure to use with a SPF of 30 or higher.
Precautions: Gas can be generated due to the nature of vitamin C. When opening the cap, it may make a sound. With a specially designed cap to seal vitamin C, it can be safely stored by controlling the gas generated inside the container. If you shake it before opening, it may overflow, so shake lightly, from left to right after fastening the pipette. Extra room in the container has been secured for safe use. Vitamin C products are recommended to be used within 2 months of opening due to easy discoloration caused by oxidation. Keep it away from high temperatures and direct sunlight. It is recommended to be stored in the refrigerator when it is not being used every day after fastening the pipette. Keeping it refrigerated can help maintain the freshness of the vitamin C. Great potent vitamin C
It works great. I prepared to buy, i purchased lower %'s of vitamin C and was building up my skin's strength to buy this. Idk the smell is not that bad to me, the smell dissipates when I use it. I'm in my 2nd month using this and I can already tell it's working better than alot of Vitamin C's I've tried. When you purchase this, this has a paper inside that gives clear instructions on how to use it and does mention that it can smell and explains that it's normal due to it's potency and it smells like omega3 - like a fishy scent. If you hate fishy scents, thats really something to consider. I've seen some reviews on other sites say the smell dissipates for some and some (for me personally, it goes away) Another thing to consider is that this is 13% Vitamin C its stating to be formulated for sensitive skin, if you have sensitive skin test it on your skin first like it says in the instructions or you can another vitamin c with a lower % and work your way up (what i did) I have stubborn acne scars that are visibly diminishing after 2 weeks of using this in the morning with proper sun protection. If using this product, be careful with what you layer on (ex: retinol, bha/aha exfoliants) it'll probably burn and irritate your skin. Don't use too much of it or your face will turn orange. I use 1 squeeze of it & evenly distribute it evenly to my face. I also wear make up and from what I observed, it doesn't seem to oxidize my foundation shade. I also like how it has hyaluronic acid so it's not drying up my already dry skin 🥲 I find that this product layers great. I use vitamin C in the AM and retinol at night for the most effectiveness of each and I can't really speak for it helping with aging (I'm sure it's helping slow down the process) but acne scars wise, I love this and I am planning on repurchasing this. It does have a short shelf life when opened (2 months) so be sure you refrigerate this for best results and don't forget about it 😂. It's a great product if you do research, know how to properly use it and store it properly.
