Absolutely not for me
To be fair, I don't recall what possessed me to buy this product. I do not need additional volume in my life at all. I normally use Purology Strength Cure, so I was looking for something a little cheaper...but I don't know how I arrived here. Anyway, this was a poor choice for my hair and hair type....

Hair Type Straight Hair
I have many problems with this shampoo. To start it never gets my scalp fully clean, I double wash and scrub very intently but I always end up having to wash the very next day. Secondly, the conditioner makes the ends of my hair feel like straw. You may be asking if it at least gives your hair volume.... no. My hair is just as flat and weighed down as before!! The only semi-positive thing I have to say about this shampoo was that I liked the packaging and smell but that does not nearly make up for the otherwise disappointing product.
Causes frizz and dryness
Smell reminds me of a popular 90's perfume. I have fine wavy hair and it makes it frizzy and dry/static.
Just didn't work for me!
i have thick long hair and struggle to hold volume, this product just didnt do much for me. i also have eczema on the back of my neck/ into the back part of my hair and this triggers it sadly :( it does leave my hair feeling very clean but after a day my eczema gets itchy and flakey. so id say if you have the opposite problem from what i do then get this!
Drying and the Smell is Cloying

I had a lot of hope for this shampoo and conditioner when I bought them, but they have not lived up to my expectations. The shampoo and conditioner are not volumizing! I bought the jumbos and used them for more than a month, but my hair remained flat and limp. Even worse, my hair was so dry and tangled. I also find the smell of to be overwhelming and artificial. I'm a fan of other Redken products, but this line was not great. Also, my hair is between wavy and curly, but the options were only "Wavy Hair" or "Very Curly Hair" without an intermediate.
