the new formula is terrible!!!!! terrible. it doesn't hold anymore. luckily i bought a jumbo bottle and was able to give that to my grandma. she LOVED kenra. she recommended it to me as a young girl and we've bonded over our hair care since childhood. shes a current cancer patient as well as a scalp...

The formula of this hairspray has changed. I have used this product for years. The last can I ordered was different. The smell had changed as well as the holding power. I took it back just thinking I had gotten a bad can but the replacement can I got in store was exactly the same.....Why change a good thing?

I have used Kenra Volume Spray 25 hairspray for years and just purchased a new bottle. Something has changed in the formula. Does not hold at all. Will be finding another brand now.

This has been my favorite hairspray for several years. it has the serious hold I need on my fine fly-away hair. BUT, my latest order came through with the cap off and the sprayer broken. I thought I could put it back on, but it's definitely broken. Now what?

I'm very sensitive with smells. This does not have an overpowering smell and holds my hair nicely. I made this Kenra purchase years ago because I ran out of my former brand. My former brand was difficult to get. I tried this on a whim and haven't (and won't) use anything else.
Something Definitely Changed
I've been using this hairspray for a few years now and always loved it for my very fine hair. My hair always stayed in place, no sticky residue, was not weighed down and the spray had a nice pleasant scent. I purchased a new can about a month ago and noticed immediately that the scent was different, (old, floral type scent), and the spray mist was finer than usual. As the day progressed, I realized my hair was not holding up the way it usually does. Took the spray back to ULTA to exchange it since I thought I received a defective product, but I had the same issue with the replacement can, so it wasn't a fluke. The formula definitely changed and it does not perform up to that standard I'm used to. If the company is telling people nothing has changed, they are not telling consumers the truth. How can so many people who are experiencing the same problem all be wrong? What would be the benefit of making all of this up? I will have to search for another hairspray since I won't buy this one again.
