They can be used with or without heat, but a quick blast from your blowdryer and letting them cool is great in helping to set your style. Warning! Cheap and Damage Hair

These are cheap and if you have sensitive hair, they could get caught in it and tangle. I ended up using a bunch of detangler to moisten the hair to get them out. Not worth your time! You will lose hair trying to get them out! Also be aware of customer service....everything is automated responses, you will never work with the same "person". I had higher expectations for this company... it's unfortunate...they have shown who they really are.
