Not for shorter hair
It heats up well and creates nice looking waves. BUT...this tools is BIG. My hair is just past the top of my shoulders and it's extremely difficult to get close to the root and the back with this tool. If you have longer hair, this would be great but not so much for us shorter hair girlies.

It worked on my hair, but I only got to use it maybe 5-6 times and I went to plug it in today and it won't turn on. I tried multiple outlets and plugged other things into the same outlets, and they worked. It never got wet, it was never dropped on the floor, it just does not turn on at all after being plugged in!
